Stingray Beach Inn - Maafushi

The artisan bread at the restaurant was a true delight, and the fresh seafood had me coming back for more! The vibrant garden added the perfect touch for a relaxing meal.

The noise levels were a real kicker. We could hear every whisper from next door, and the loud music nearby blared until dawn! Still, if you're a night owl, you might not mind the ruckus too much.

Overall a really really nice stay for 6 nights during the recent holidays. Beautifully maintained and nice looking room with a private bathroom. Hypoallergenic pillows, large bed. Friendliness from the whole staff.

Stingray Beach Inn impressed me from the minute I arrived! A warm welcome. The staff were helpful, answering my questions and assisting with reservations smoothly. My room, the Beautiful Double or Twin Room with Garden View, was cozy and clean. Daily housekeeping added a nice touch. The proximity to the beach was superb. Morning beach walks were my favorite. I loved dining at their restaurant, where the seafood was fresh and delicious. Some hot water issues occurred in the shower, as it would intermittently turn off. The mosquitoes in the garden area could be bothersome. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall experience was wonderful and definitely worth it!

The location was unbeatable, not too far from Lewes Market Tower. It included excellent restaurant with friendly staff...

Abrahim is very helpful and friendly and they are really focused on keeping the guests happy. If you want to see Maldives in a more affordable way this island is a great option, and this is the best guesthouse on the island. The food (except breakfast) was surprisingly good and excellent value for money. Rooms are modern, new, and comfortable.

As mentioned this is a more affordable way to see Maldives, but there are tons of hidden costs that you need to budget for. Keep in mind these costs: -$100 a day per couple for day excursions (you need to go on excursions almost every day as Maafushi has no real beach or anything to do. But this is great as you can see several different resorts, Islands, snorkeling points, etc.) -5.5% fee for using credit card -16% additional taxes on EVERYTHING including room rate, food, excursions, etc.

General Manager of Stingray Ibrahim was very pleased with everyone. He helped in all questions that we asked. I offer everyone going to Maafushi to Stingray because it is the best guest house in Maafushi. Ibrahim helped us going to different excursions and we felt ourselves as in world of dreams/ Everything was perfect, you can offer their different type of foods which is very tasty and econom. It is the best guest house for stay with limited budget and relax as in 5 star hotels. There is everything in the room and it was similar to 5 star hotel.

I'm Thai. I stayed here for 4days/3nights with my Mom. Here is very nice, new and clean room/place. you can go to there by speed boat or ferry. They service Thai foods and other national foods in reasonable price. In the resort island has small nice beach that you can sunbath and swim (It's not close up to the resort but you can go to there by little walk), They service the boat for sunset/dolphin cruise trip etc. and you can go to the other nice island for travelling, snorkeling, dining etc. that you can select the place as you like .You can discuss with resort staff about any thing you need and the price of any services before make decision. Staff are friendly and they can recommend all about your need. I so impressive about the room and area inside the resort. It's very nice, clean and comfortable and the price of room rate and food are resonable. I hope to visit you again.

to be true, we just loved it. Ibrahim welcomed us in his typical warm, quiet and openminded maledivian way. From the first moment we felt comfortable, the room was spacey enough, very clean and with a nice and simple design. For any enquiries the stuff was very helpful. Food was good and if you like something special, ask the chief 'hassan".

The location of the hotel is good. It's in 5 minutes walk from the beach. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The manager of the hotel Ibragim did everything possible to meet our disires and needs.

The food was not tasty and usually overdone. There is no TV channel in Russian.

The stingray offered an very nice dining experience with fresh seafood and an inviting garden for relaxation. The staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating, our needs were met comfortably throughout our stay.

insect presence in public areas needs attention.

The hotel is new and so nice inside,even more that we expected. The stuff are so friendly and the owner helped us in everything and orgonized all the tours for us.The food was good, we didin't try in other places as our friends told us it's much better to eat in our hotel.

Ibrahim and the staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Food was good (order early) Stingray is small and intimate in a beautiful setting and the rooms were comfortable and very clean. Being on a local island was a real plus for us to get a taste of the Maldives culture also a visit to Biyadhoo is a must. We highly recommend Stingray Beach Inn

Although a seemingly minor issue as the beds were new and comfortable we would have appreciated mattress protectors for the beds.
